A little tribute to one of my favorite songs, the one that got me hooked on Talking Heads after I first heard BBC Radio 1 DJ John Peel play the track as sample from "Fear of Music" in 1979:

That was cool! I liked the Godzilla. Maybe some shots from the Cairo uprising would complement the shots of Berlin and Beijing.

Thanks, Aspiemom. Glad you enjoyed the video. I always loved that song, and it was the one that got me into Talking Heads about 30 years ago.

Cairo is in there, near the end, starting with a flurry of images at 3:51 played over a Chris Frantz drum run. Funnily enough, the Mubarak uprising was happening while I was putting the video together, which took about a week of noodling on my spare time. By the time I'd finished, it was all over, hence the image of the happy crowd and the cheering chap in the 'Pirelli' soccer jersey at 3:53: a revolution in two seconds. Initially, I didn't intend for the video to be so loaded with images of strife and turmoil, I just wanted it to be global, without too many picture postcard shots, but I guess that's what happens when you start slinging together images about city living.

And even Gojira needs to find himself a city to live in!
