Related, only last month I managed to trace a secondary branch of my maternal line to Dingwall, Scotland, 1648 (on my 2008 U.K. tour we visited Loch Ness, some 20 miles south of Dingwall, likely making me the first of this bloodline to return to the motherland since 1760 when they sailed west to America)...
